One of the greatest things about ridding a bike in Berthoud, is that we have Carter Lake and Pinewood Reservoir just west of town. The North and South side climbs of Carter Lake are staples for most riders in and around Larimer County and Pinewood is always there. Never getting any easier but always delivering a great climb and descent. With 2,500 feet of climbing in 35 miles and amazing vistas, it really is a great “bang for your buck”.
